‘Flow’ yoga is characterised by breath and movement in harmony. Poses are linked together in a smooth, dance-like way. Hatha Flow is generally slow paced with moments of stillness, gently working the body while inducing a sense of calm and relaxation. Vinyasa Flow is more dynamic, geared towards generating or shifting blocked energy (similar to Ashtanga). While Vinyasa and Hatha have movement ‘phrases’, these are not bound in rigid patterns and the Teacher will sequence creatively, tailoring to the needs and experience-levels of the group.
